Zenflow, a Propel(x) portfolio company, has achieved key FDA milestones for its Spring System and Spring Scope while advancing clinical progress in BPH treatment.

Zenflow has developed the Spring System, a minimally invasive therapy designed to relieve urinary obstruction related to BPH through a simple, flexible procedure performed in the urologist’s office.

BPH affects more than 30 million men in the United States and over 500 million men worldwide, representing a large and growing global market. Many existing treatment options require tradeoffs between effectiveness, invasiveness, and patient quality of life.

Recent years’ progress and achievements:
  • In December 2025, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration approved the Zenflow Spring Implant and Delivery System for the treatment of symptoms associated with BPH, a major regulatory milestone for the company.
  • Earlier in 2025, Zenflow presented three-year clinical data showing durable symptom improvement for patients treated with the Spring System, underscoring its potential long-term impact.
  • Additionally, Zenflow’s Spring Scope received FDA 510(k) clearance, recognizing the cystoscope technology that supports delivery of the Spring System and enhances procedural visualization.
Company momentum and backing:

The company is led by Shreya Mehta, President and Chief Executive Officer and Founder, and is backed by investors including Golden Seeds, Astia Angels, Paul Graham, Paul Buchheit, and Zod Nazem.

Zenflow is addressing a significant and underserved healthcare need with a solution designed around patient experience, clinical outcomes, and physician workflow.
