Understanding The Role of Alternative Assets in Navigating Market Volatility

August 16, 2022 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am PDT

Market uncertainty seems to be the new normal. Apart from the volatile stock market, there are increased concerns around high inflation, rising interest rates, supply chain issues and the energy crisis. As an investor, it is natural to get overwhelmed and anxious about the fluctuating value of your investment portfolio.

Alternative investments (Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital, Real Assets and Collectibles) are considered to be un-correlated to the public markets and therefore provide an opportunity to diversify your investment portfolio and potentially reduce overall risk exposure across investments. A few alternative asset classes can also potentially provide a hedge against inflation.

Join us in a panel discussion where CEOs of three different alternative investment platforms (Startups, Real Estate and Farmland) come together and discuss the role of alternative asset classes in the current investing environment.

The event is free to attend. We encourage you to share this webinar information with your friends too!

Topics of Discussion

  • What is the impact of the turbulent geopolitical climate on the different asset classes?
  • What are correlated and non-correlated assets?
  • What are the tradeoffs involved when considering alternative investments?
  • How is technology democratizing alternative investments?
  • How can you future proof your investment portfolio?

Private Placements are a high-risk investment. An investment in this offering is speculative and an investor could experience an entire loss of principal. Private investments are highly illiquid and risky and are not suitable for all investors. There is no guarantee that an investment will be profitable or that there will ever be an exit strategy or an opportunity to liquidate the investment. Investments in early-stage private companies should only be part of your overall investment portfolio.
