Propel(x) is an online investment platform. We do the hard work of sourcing and reviewing investment opportunities, so investors like you can find startups to invest in.

Our online platform offers end-to-end investor services. Investors can easily browse open investment opportunities, complete diligence, commit investments, sign documents, and transfer funds.

Propel(x) works exclusively with individuals and companies who qualify as accredited investors. 

An Accredited Investor is someone who satisfies one or more of the criteria defined by the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC):

•  Individuals with a net worth (excluding their primary residence) of $1,000,000 or more
• Individuals with an income of $200,000 or more, or in a household with an income of $300,000 or more
• FINRA series 7, 65 and 82 registered persons
• Entities with investments of $5,000,000 in assets
• Entities composed of individuals who are accredited investors
• Investment Advisors who are registered or exempt, or FINRA registered broker-dealers

There are no subscription or membership fees to join Propel(x). It is free to create an investor account on our platform.

Hubble Investments, LLC, is a broker-dealer, registered and licensed with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Many of the investments on Propel(x) are offered through Hubble Investments, LLC in accordance with the rules and procedures set forth by FINRA.

Most opportunities on Propel(x) offer a minimum check size of $5,000. We aggregate the smaller checks into a special purpose vehicle  (SPV) called a “syndicate,” which in turn invests into the target company.

This process allows us to open access to investment opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach for many investors. It is common for investment minimums to be set at $50,000 – $100,000, which is 10x-20x the minimum on Propel(x).

Investors who invest through a syndicate will also pay 10 %carry in the event of a successful exit.

This investment is illiquid and there is no guarantee that an exit strategy will come to pass. You may not ever be able to sell or liquidate the investment or to receive a return of principal.

Propel(x) does not charge annual fees for investments. Instead, investors pay a one-time upfront brokerage fee for each investment they complete through Propel(x).

Fees range from 2% – 7.5%, depending on the transaction type. Direct investments incur a 2% fee, while syndicate investments incur a 7.5% fee per transaction. Investors who invest via a syndicate will incur a 10% carry upon exit.
